On Saturday 1 June 2013 a memorial to the 507th US Parachute Infantry Regiment, who were billeted at Tollerton Hall in March 1944, was unveiled by the last remaining member of the division, Roland Daniel, aged 90 years, and the daughter of Edwin Ostberg who was the commander of the division but was later killed in action. The inscription reads:
In Memory of the men of the
United States

memory is still cherished. |
