Cotgrave All SaintsWar Memorial
The
East Window is a memorial to those parishioners who served in the First World
War. It was dedicated by the rector on 11 July 1920.
The principal war memorial is in the form of a cross and is located in the cemetery across
the road from the church. It was designed by Lieutenant-Colonel A. W. Brewill of the Nottingham architectural firm, Brewill & Baily, and was unveiled on 27 June 1920. The memorial cost £240 and the amount was raised by public subscription.
The bronze plaque on the east face of the memorial reads:
TO THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF
THIS PARISH WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
